International Forwarding Services Johannesburg was established in 2001.

We provide freight and distribution services worldwide. To this end, we established agencies worldwide with the Embassy Freight Group of companies and International Freight Network (IFN).

We have also handpicked a number of other agents who are strong in specific areas and routes. This offers our clients global expertise and efficiency.

Our founders and staff have spent most of their working lives in the international forwarding industry and some have held senior positions in other companies.

Our focus is on those aspects of the business which we believe have been lost in the larger organisations, namely competent customer service, personal attention and good communication

By utilising our international networks, we are able to provide competitive services covering: airfreight, seafreight, roadfreight, customs broking, warehousing and other allied services from all the major cities and towns in the world.

Our international partners have been moving cargo globally for more than 30 years and have developed influential relationships with both large and small organisations throughout the world.

Services include FCL containers, LCL shipment, Airfreight, Seafreight Break Bulk, Project shipments and Heavy Lift equipment, on exports and imports.

Today the highly specialised nature of the freight forwarding industry globally has informed our decision not to appoint a single major international logistics company, as we believe this best serves the interests of our clients. What we have done instead, is to select and hand-pick agents who are strong in specific areas, or routes - these range from large, corporate forwarders to medium-sized forwarders.

CAPE TOWN UPDATE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our Cape Town Managing Director, Mr Ian Newlands.

The office is still fully functional, with all operations being directed to the Johannesburg team, and our Johannesburg MD stepping into the managing role for Cape Town for the time being.
